Heng-zi Lo
Canada Mobilization Director
Heng-zi Lo joined GHNI in 2008 as the Canadian Mobilization Director. Her role is to bring awareness on issues surrounding poverty, and mobilize Canadians and resources to support and facilitate GHNI projects around the world.
Heng-zi’s passion for humanitarian work stemmed from her years of traveling and living abroad during her university studies. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a BA in Communications, then later received a Bachelor’s in Education as a French Specialist.
Heng-zi has lived, taught and traveled worldwide for both humanitarian work and pleasure. Through working with GHNI, she hopes to see individual lives and whole communities transformed through GHNI’s basic TCD principles. She desires to see people filled with hope and dignity through resources, skills and education that will give them a confidence to know that they can move out and stay out of poverty.
