Disaster Relief Strategy Coordinator

Michael Parks is GHNI’s Project Director for short and long term programs in Afghanistan, India, Sudan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar. He also oversees GHNI’s disaster relief effort world wide.

Since helping repatriate refugees from the Kosovo conflict in 1999, Michael and his wife, Sheri, continue to seek out the unreached and least reached people in crisis. Mike has 18 years experience in team development and leading in underdeveloped countries.

In places like Sudan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka, victims of oppression, persecution, war, and natural disasters are pleading for help. So these lives can recover from disasters, Mike and Sheri serve with compassion and dignity through holistic transformation that brings healing in many ways.

Mike and Sheri have four beautiful children, Carlos, Ilana, Josiah and Micha.
