Families in Dadpur Village are slowly building a menagerie that will move the community towards self-sustainability.
This July, we were able to assist two additional families in Dadpur Village through the Goat Bank Project. One family received two goats while the other family received three sheep.
Chand* is a member of the Transformational Community Development (TCD) village in Dadpur and has been regularly encouraged by the education and awareness activities of the TCD project. He works as a daily wage laborer and supports a family of four, including his wife, son, and elder brother. His son, aged 14, is currently studying in class 10. During a family visit, Chand expressed his desire to raise sheep to increase his family’s income. In response, the committee supported him by purchasing three sheep for his household.
Chand has expressed his gratitude to the TCD project for this valuable support. He is confident that through sheep farming, he will be able to improve his family’s livelihood. We are thankful that our village continues to receive such opportunities to move toward self-sustainability and growth.
Thank you!
