Teaching About Disease Prevention
September 1, 2022
Every rainy season brings loads of water-borne diseases and health issues. Binodpur Village is not any different. Sicknesses like stomach problems, diarrhoea, and malaria are very common during the rainy season. Our Transformational Community Development (TCD) staff member, Bharat, took some major steps by spreading awareness in the local schools and around the community. First, he did an awareness programme on the use of audio-visual media in local primary schools, and then he arranged a small gathering where he shared information on how to prevent malaria. He has been doing this kind of awareness since last year, and there has been a drastic fall in sickness since then, especially malaria.
Thank you!
