A First Harvest after Three Years
October 31, 2022

The agricultural rehabilitation programme in this Transformational Community Development (TCD) village gives hope to the families in the midst of various troubles. The plantations are growing well and the accountability group has been closely monitoring the works of each beneficiary. For the first batch of this programme, 28 families received funds and grew different types of crops, such as elephant-yam, banana trees, turmeric, cucumber, betel nut, gourd and others. By next quarter, some families that grew short-term crops will have a harvest for the first time. They are so excited about it! The first harvest will help the family get income again which they have not had for the past three years. Our plan is to continue to help alongside the TCD committees and encourage them.
Thank you,
