Champion of Self-Sustainability
November 1, 2022
My name is Snezana. I work as a Transformational Community Development (TCD) trainer in Ɖorgovska mahala, Serbia. In addition to regular meetings and activities in Ɖorgovska mahala, once a week my team and I visit another settlement in the town of Zaguzanje. Our champion in the settlement is Kruna. She is 46 years old and has a husband, sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren. She attended the Vision Seminar of TCD and was delighted with the TCD programme. In the short period of time that we have been visiting this settlement, she understood that she wanted a change in her family and her village. She wants to see unity in the settlement, love and healthy relationships, and she wants herself and the other villagers to be self-sustaining. Kruna learnt that love is very important. She is an example of a good mother and mother-in-law, and she has good relations with her neighbours. Always ready to help, she shows love to everyone in her neighbourhood. She is very grateful to TCD.
Thank you!
