Raising and Training New Leaders
March 30, 2023
I visited and introduced Transformational Community Development (TCD) to 11 different community leaders, out of whom two have shown interest in adopting TCD in their area. They have suggested I present TCD to their community members, which will help them make decisions about what to implement. Those two community leaders have also suggested having a vision seminar where members from the two villages can come together and learn about TCD. I have also shortlisted three young people to work as interns because they share the burden with me of working for the community.
We had a TOT-1 (Training of Trainers—Level 1) training in Siliguri for 25 people in February. I worked to communicate with different leaders who sent their candidates to this training. This is a lot of good movement forward, and we are very happy about all this!
Thank you,
