Our field board chair, Norm Hawkins, and his wife, Barb, served on a medical outreach to four villages in central Togo, Africa in November 2023. Global Hope served with a longstanding partner we regularly work with. Ten workers from the US joined over 40 people from Togo and surrounding countries to provide medical, dental and optical care to very poor villagers in four communities where Global Hope has been working. This outreach was part of our Transformational Community Development (TCD). The team provided care to over 2,350 patients, including Norm and Barb evaluating over 500 individuals, and distributing glasses to them. Villagers expressed great appreciation for the care they received.
