Reaching Out to Lift Up
December 19, 2023
The Transformational Community Development (TCD) program went well in October. I gave some teaching responsibilities to the two new teachers at the tutoring center, and they did well, but some students left the center because they did not like the teaching methods of other local teachers. These local teachers were very new and lacked experience in teaching. As of now, I have restarted the tutoring center, and five students are coming. I am trying to convince all the parents to send their children again.
In the area of Income Generation, I talked to a few villagers and asked them if they could do a small business like a general store, pig farming, etc. Most of the villagers are doing labor work and are quite busy with their schedules, but I will try my best to make them aware of how important business is in this era. I have also gotten an easy irrigation system that will help the villagers sustain their kitchen gardens easily.
Thank you,
