It was beyond our imagination to witness such remarkable success in the life of Anita*. She is one of the active members of the Transformational Community Development (TCD) program and comes from a poor family background. In the past, she and her family faced many challenges due to a lack of knowledge, ideas, opportunities, and stable sources of income.

After participating in the TCD program, Anita was able to establish a source of income with the help of TCD training, teachings, and a small amount of seed money. The TCD classes helped build her confidence and ability to speak in front of community women’s groups. Previously, she was shy and would tremble when speaking among others, but now she has become brave, confident, and ready to lead women in community TCD activities.

She has also successfully started a micro-shop business in her village with the support of TCD seed funding. This business now provides her with a steady daily income and her family no longer struggles to meet basic needs such as food and education for her children. She feels happy and satisfied with her progress.

Anita is now motivated to encourage other community members to participate in TCD activities and become self-sustainable. Her story clearly shows that even a small amount of support through TCD can bring meaningful transformation in people’s lives. Many others in the community also have the potential to improve their livelihoods and achieve success through TCD lessons.
