Engaging Opportunities for an Educational Glow-up
April 3, 2024
We held an engaging Transformational Community Development (TCD) event aimed at educating children about bullying. Activities included discussions, role-playing, creative projects, and group games. Participants showed increased awareness, empowerment, and positive attitudes towards kindness and empathy.
This month, our fabulous ladies delved into the world of beauty, mastering the art of hair partitioning and styling. But that’s not all! They also indulged in luxurious skincare routines and perfected the delicate craft of eyebrow grooming using threading and tweezing. Talk about a glow-up journey!
This is our third and last month in level 1 for the adult English course, where we consistently had six to ten participants. Students were immersed in practical conversations, speaking about airport arrivals and exploring the city. Teaching methods include fostering friendships, paired discussions, and adapting scenarios based on preferences. In level 2, students aspire to fluently converse and expand their vocabulary.
Our February English learning journey was diverse and engaging. We delved into animals, discussing their habitats and unique traits, while also exploring a variety of hobbies. Additionally, we focused on mastering vowels for language improvement and continued honing our basic computer skills. Throughout, our approach remained interactive and dynamic, fostering enjoyable comprehension of all subjects.
This month in the art class, the ladies delved into the art of designing pillowcases, mastering the maintenance of fabric pieces, and learning the techniques of recycling materials.
Thank you!
