Moving Towards Self-Sustainability
July 15, 2024
In Shri Ambra Village, the Transformational Community Development (TCD) work is showing promising results. The free rations from the government has made the community dependent and unwilling to do anything. The community’s reliance on government handouts has hindered their sustainability. To break free from this cycle, employment or starting businesses is essential. TCD training began on the second Sunday of May and continues weekly.
Initially, the community was unsure about the TCD training, but after two sessions, they are starting to grasp its purpose. We anticipate that by the end of the first phase, they will understand how TCD operates and how it can lead to a brighter future. Our goal is for our village to set an example for others through TCD.
Thank you,
