As a friend and supporter of Global Hope, I am very excited about the Hike4Hope25 initiative, combining a trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro in late October, 2025 with fundraising efforts to invest in 25 projects among some of the most needy people on the face of the earth. Having served as Executive Director of the UN’s World Food Programme, the world’s largest humanitarian operation, I can attest to the great needs in the 31 countries where Global Hope works, and to the critical importance of helping the poor to flourish and lead sustainable lives in their home countries. With the deep cuts in US foreign aid taking place as we speak, the timeliness of this support cannot be overstated. I hope you will join me in sacrificially investing in efforts far beyond anything we can do on our own!
