Mental health professionals will be joining the outstanding GHNI team on the ground in Egypt to meet the needs of the many Sudanese refugees there. The most recent war in the Sudan has been raging for the past year, with 5.6 million people having fled their homes, many to Egypt. Of course, there were already many Sudanese refugees in Egypt due to earlier conflicts, and our team there has been consistently working to help meet their needs. Trauma-trained professionals will be able to work directly with those individuals, as well as provide TCD training in trauma to the entire Egypt team.

What an opportunity to see the amazing culture and sites of Egypt in both Cairo and Aswan, while working to bring help and hope to a hurting population in one of the neediest parts of the world!
