Learning Cleanliness for the Community

Africa | Ethiopia | Tuti Village | Wellness

The Transformational Community Development (TCD) Health Committee in Tuti Village teaches the community how to protect themselves from communicable diseases. Because of the drought, some signs of these diseases were seen in the village, so basic health education was crucial. Throughout the discussion, villagers were taught that every household should continue to use the toilet, and hand washing is critical. Furthermore, keeping kitchen equipment clean also contributes to the community’s overall health.
