Building Relationships, Trust, and Businesses
October 31, 2022

Umm Karim, a woman from Al-Shorfa Village, has three children, a boy and two girls. She learnt in the Transformational Community Development (TCD) women’s group how to make liquid soap and Dettol (a disinfectant). She began her business in her home and sold her products to neighbours and the people of the village in order to help her husband with some of the household expenses. This project succeeded very well.
Badria is a teenage girl from the TCD group in Bani Mazar. She was a very shy and introverted girl who did not like to study. After joining the group, she began to participate and strive hard to learn about success. She is now one of the most active girls in the TCD group.
Zina, a member of the women’s group in the village of Shousa, had always been very shy and withdrawn, but through building trust and having discussions, the group encouraged her to express her views, participate, and help others.
Thank you!
