Encouraging Self-Sustainability
December 2, 2022
My name is Snežana, and I work in Đorgovska mahala as a Transformational Community Development (TCD) trainer. In addition to our regular meetings and activities in Đorgovska mahala, we trained a team that visited Zaguzanje Village with me. It is our second village after Đorgovska mahala. We are very excited about the opening of this new village and the good work that will be done there.
Deborah is 22 years old and has a 5-year-old son from a previous marriage. She is very young but open to listening carefully and learning. She is a part of our TCD group. Through our classes, she learned how to achieve a good relationship with her husband and family and has had good results while rearing her child. She wants to become self-sustaining and start a job because she is currently living on social assistance. She is grateful to TCD for the many things she has learned, which have made her life better.
Thank you!
