Raising Funds to Finish the School
August 11, 2023
In Effaoho Village, so much progress is being made regarding Transformational Community Development (TCD) and related projects. The Education Committee met to deliberate on the plans to complete the school in the community. Work is yet to be done, including plastering of walls, flooring, installation of windows, finishing of corridors and common areas, and the purchase of teachers desks and chairs. The committee requested a quote from vendors to get an idea of what is required to complete the project. The total cost came to about 920,000 CFA. The locals are well invested in this project and are working towards raising required funds and will appreciate support from donors, as well.
The school is functioning and thriving and the Education Committee is well positioned to manage the affairs of the school with little or no intervention. They are doing quite well.
Thank you!
