School Building Finished in Time
February 7, 2024
The Effaho school building construction work was halted in the past couple months for so many reasons. Happily, the work has commenced again with painting, completion of roofing, and improvement on some parts of the structure. This work brought joy to the community as the year wrapped up. Teti, the Transformational Community Development (TCD) worker and the Education Committee were on ground to thoroughly supervise the work, and put things in place ahead of school resumption after the Christmas holidays.
Transformational Community Development (TCD) Update

Water
The borehole in Effaho village is functioning well and serving the community. The villagers continue to report that they are healthier because they have enough clean water for drinking, bathing, and cleaning. Their hygiene level is higher now. They continue to maximize use of potable water for healthy living.

Income Generation
In Effaho, the various cooperatives continue to run and the members are making profit on their palm oil businesses. More women have ventured into the business in the last quarter. A new palm oil production factory has opened. Some of the women have diversified into planting and sale of palm oil seedlings. They have planted about 200 seedlings which are being nurtured in the nursery. When ready, each will be sold at 400 cfa.
Thank you!
