In the Dhoker Jhara cluster, we taught Transformational Community Development (TCD) lessons on nutrition and gave out fruit trees for families to plant. When I met with the people of Murtola, they asked for the trees too, so they could also participate in nutrition at home. Planning the distribution of these fruit trees included educating villagers about eating a balanced diet. We were surprised to find that most of them had no idea about good nutrition.
