Three Important Areas of Growth
May 6, 2024
This quarter, the training team has mostly followed up on activities already in progress from previous quarters. The water and latrine subsidy programs continue to expand, and the Income Generation group’s soap-making project continues to function well.
As we look forward to potential graduation later this year, the GHNI training team held meetings with a local community organization. The organization was taught Transformational Community Development (TCD) lessons and discussed topics such as the role of committees. They desire to continue applying TCD principles independently after the GHNI program comes to a close.
Transformational Community Development (TCD) Update

Water
In addition to the six water sources created in the community, the Water Committee is working on building biochar filters using local resources and skills.

Income Generation
The soap-making group functions mostly independently, and orders are increasing!
Thank you!
