Ducks Are Delightful!
July 15, 2024
The Mawa community’s duck program has now been running for three months. They have begun selling the young ducks but will keep the mother ducks in order to sustain future production for continued Income Generation. Now that they have learned a bit about raising ducks, they are enthusiastic about doing another round of production, while others in the community have become interested in joining the program after seeing some success. They did experience some problems since this was their first time raising ducks, but they also learned a lot for the future.
The Mawa community sends their thanks to the Transformational Community Development (TCD) training team and GHNI for their patience in walking through this process with them. They are pleased they can finally have a way to earn some income in their village.
Thank you,
