Empowering Women to Be Entrepreneurs
July 15, 2024
We went to Djabegou Village and taught idle women to start small businesses that bring money for their families, however small.
Often, a mindset change is needed to inspire women to use whatever skills they have to earn Income for their families. Usually a Self-Help Group is started where the women contribute some money and take turns using the money as a loan to start a business like raising chickens or other animals. Some may start a small shop or sell food they’ve made.
Thank you!
