Reaching the Hidden and Hurting
July 15, 2024

To achieve its vision, GHNI is reaching out to the poor, hidden, and hurting people within the communities. The Transformational Community Development (TCD) team in Gem Village is playing a vital role in changing the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS, breastfeeding mothers, and many others. This month, in partnership with TCD workers and the county government, GHNI volunteers organized a mobile clinic that targeted the elderly and children under five years old. The community was coached on disease management, and the ones who were sick got medication before going back home. The community is very grateful to GHNI for organizing such an event for them.
Thank you!
