Yasmin, a girl from the Bani Mazar Transformational Community Development (TCD) group for teenagers, felt worthless and like a failure. She could not see herself clearly and didn’t understand who she was or what she had in life. She was young, undisciplined, and often frustrated with herself. However, in the group, she began to see herself differently. Talking, sharing, and a sense of acceptance changed how she saw herself. She was most deeply affected by the idea of forgiveness, especially forgiveness towards other people.
Learning about forgiveness freed her from the feelings of resignation and resentment she had been carrying for years. Now Yasmin has been diligent in her studies, and she has real motivation for success. She has come out of her shell, and her self-confidence has increased significantly. Yasmin today is an example of a girl who changed as she grew to understand her value and began to see a future filled with hope.
Thank you,
