Celebrating a Huge Success
August 27, 2024

Effaoho locals recently celebrated the gains of Transformational Community Development (TCD) when their village was voted as the “Capital Village” by other villages in their cluster. These villages are all between 6 and 15 km from Effaoho. Even though Effaoho does not have electricity, it received many votes because other communities observed multiple indicators of development and transformed lives within the community.
Effahao was also nominated to host this year’s football tournament. Effaoho’s football team won, clenching the trophy. The winning prize included a generous donation from a businessman in the village. While celebrating their wins with a full day of celebration, the community immensely thanked Teti for introducing the lessons and ideals of TCD, to which they attributed their successes. They described TCD as the best thing that has happened to them.
Thank you!
