It’s Organic!
August 27, 2024
Several Batemoni farmers have discontinued the use of chemical fertilizers and now use only organic fertilizers for growing their crops. This is a result of the new knowledge they gained about the benefits of growing healthy food and its impact on the overall health and well-being of their families and the community as a whole. The farmers started making compost for use in the current planting season right after Transformational Community Development (TCD) worker Sayi trained them on compost-making.
The farmers shared these success stories and expressed gratitude that Sayi visited some of them on their farms and held meetings where he taught TCD lessons on food and wellness.
Thank you!
