Maryam regularly attends the Transformational Community Development (TCD) program, where the meetings provide a safe and supportive environment for participation, expression, and her psychological and social growth. She said, “The meetings are a wonderful time for me. I feel comfortable and can express myself openly with my group leader, Miss Nardine.”

She also explained that the relationship between her and the rest of the group is characterized by closeness and mutual support. They spend quality time together, learning, sharing food and conversation, and exchanging secrets in an atmosphere of trust.

Maryam emphasized that this support has had a significant impact on helping her navigate adolescence successfully and peacefully. This meeting reflects the impact of the TCD program in building healthy relationships, fostering confidence, and providing safe spaces that help girls grow and positively navigate the different stages of their lives.
