Engaging Honesty
Shosho is spreading the value of honesty into her school community.
Shosho is a third-grade student from Adandan Nubian Village who attends the Transformational Community Development (TCD) group regularly. During one of our sessions, we taught a lesson about honesty, and Shosho showed noticeable engagement through her active participation and enthusiasm in answering questions.
At the end of the session, we distributed a worksheet related to the lesson for the children to complete afterward. Shosho expressed great excitement about the activity and said she would complete the worksheet and then take it to school to show her classmates. She also mentioned that she would tell them about the lesson on honesty and encourage them to complete the activity as well.
This situation reflects the positive impact of the lesson on the children and demonstrates how what they learn within the group can extend into their school environment, helping to instill moral values and encourage them to share these values with their classmates.
Thank you,
