Among the important and enjoyable lessons in the Transformational Community Development (TCD) program for children was the topic of obedience at home and school. During the discussion, Lusanda shared simple and profound words, saying, “I must obey my mother and father, especially now after my father’s operation and with many visitors coming to the house.”

She learned in the TCD class that obedience is not limited to normal circumstances but includes times of fatigue and stress. Therefore, Lusanda helps her mother with housework, welcomes guests with her, and maintains calm and order to comfort her parents. Because of her obedience and tranquility, visitors came to love Lusanda, noticing her beautiful spirit and distinct calmness. She became an example of a child who understands that obedience shows love and respect, not just the ability to follow orders.
