Training to Become Self-Sustaining
August 15, 2022
As we continue our new Transformational Community Development (TCD) Income Generation project called the Self Sustaining Movement (SSM), we are continuing our survey and training programme in the Dumuria Block of Jharkhand. We have around six villages in Dumuria Block, and although we have some issues in organising village meetings, we are trying our best to reach our target within the stipulated time. We have already received project proposals from some villagers of this block, and there are more to come.
Our plan was to disburse the funds at the end of April, but we are running late. We have put a hold on the collection of project proposal forms, and will use this time for training on how to utilise the funds for financial growth. Villagers are really excited about this initiative, and they want to start as soon as possible. Next month, my target is to complete both the surveys and training, in three more villages of this cluster.
