Learning to Embrace Transformation
November 1, 2022
The ventilated improved pit (VIP) latrine is ready for use. The Wellness Committee has been established and members met in September to deliberate their responsibilities and how the latrines will be managed.
The locals of Ninya are warming up to Transformational Community Development (TCD), while unlearning their old systems and learning new ways of doing things. In the coming months, we hope that the community will fully embrace the change as we carry out more TCD lessons and activities. The VIP latrines will be used more, and this will consequently impact the general health and well-being of the community.
Thank you!
