Instability Hampers TCD Progress
December 27, 2022

The coup d’etat has hampered a lot of activities, including Transformational Community Development (TCD) endeavours in the area. The locals of Koubah Bingo have many uncertainties, making it difficult to get their participation in TCD activities.
The milling machine, which was operational before, now is not due to the fact that the operator had to take a leave of absence and a replacement has not been found. The patronage of the milling machine has also dwindled because of rural urban migration and declining harvests from local farms. Some money has been made from the milling machine so far and it is hoped that in subsequent months when there’s more stability, the loan will be paid off from the proceeds.
Thank you!
