Family House Helped for Harsh Winters
February 3, 2023
Recently, we had several meetings with governmental and Non-Government Organization (NGO) workers. We met with the president of an NGO who promotes equal rights and equal opportunities. We will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) very soon. We discussed possible projects and future cooperation.
In Spitak, our team helped a family whose house was falling down, specifically the roof and the ceiling. They have six children in the house and, during the winter months, there is a threat of the roof collapsing due to the heaviness of the snow. We have organized a series of community activities to reach out and help this family; some local government members were actively involved, as also volunteers from the community. With joint efforts, the roof and the ceiling were renovated.
The family was happy and grateful when they saw the hard work and care of their community. Now, this family will dwell safely from the elements, especially in winters!
The month was quite challenging for us as a family. Our son Nick got a virus that infected his lungs causing pneumonia. He was in the hospital for eight days and later he had to get treatment at home, quarantined. He is well now but still needs to recover fully. The hospitals were packed as many children were infected with viruses.
Thank you!
