Cleaning a Room Brightens a Heart
July 10, 2023
This month, we have had regular meetings, reminding ourselves of what we learned about health, hygiene, and traditional holistic studies. We also went to Zaguzanje Village, a new settlement, every week.
Natasa recently joined our Transformational Community Development (TCD) group. She has two children and lives with her mother. The room where she lives was extremely messy and dirty. The children were also filthy. As she was growing up, she was not taught about hygiene and did not know it was important for both herself and her family. She started coming to the TCD group regularly, and then female volunteers helped her clean the room, bathe the children, and make sure everything was clean. Zuhra, one of the TCD volunteers, worked with her in particular. Natasa is grateful to TCD for what she has learned and wants to continue her education.
Thank you!
