Growing Both a Garden and Sustainability
October 1, 2023
For many years, we used to travel very long distances just to buy vegetables for our personal consumption. Now, we buy from our village because of the agricultural sustainability project that we are a part of. I am part of the association that is partnered with GHNI, and we are now producing carrots, onions, cabbages, tomatoes, and peppers. We are selling our products in the village market and saving our money to further expand our business. This way, we are generating income so that we can buy other food items. Our association has doubled the previous seed money. I hope that we will have double production as the weather is favorable, and we are getting technical support from the Transformational Community Development (TCD) partners.
Thank you!
