Launching Literacy Classes
October 17, 2023
Arigbakoto Village has a primary school, but not all children of school age attend. There are multiple reasons for this, including living outside of the school range, an inability for parents to provide school supplies and pay school fees, and other times, it’s a worldview issue that prevents parents from placing value on child education. As an intervention, Transformational Community Development (TCD) launched literacy classes in an effort to enable these children to attain basic literacy and numeracy.
Thank you!
