Confirming Community Goals

We formed a seven-member Transformational Community Development (TCD) committee and trained the committee on TCD’s goals and beliefs pertaining to Water, Food, Education, Income Generation, and Wellness. We have committee meetings once a month, community meetings every Friday, and family visits once a week. We encourage the members in a variety of ways during the family visits.
We started a preschool in partnership with GHNI. There are 17 children in the school, which runs five days a week. Mr. Saikat is the teacher at our school, and everything is going well now.
