In the village, several children were not attending school and were spending their time wandering aimlessly. Their parents showed little interest in education, and as a result, the children’s future was at risk of moving in the wrong direction. The community lacked understanding about the importance of schooling and the long-term impact it could have on their children’s lives.

Through the Transformational Community Development (TCD) education initiative, community members began engaging in regular discussions about education and its value. With guidance from TCD volunteers acting as coaches, they took responsibility to encourage one another to send their children to school. Parents started recognizing their role in shaping their children’s future and made collective efforts to prioritize education within the village.

As a direct result of TCD-driven awareness and the community’s own efforts, three children were admitted to school this month. These children are now attending regularly and have begun learning to read and write. The change reflects a growing sense of responsibility among community members, demonstrating how TCD has directly contributed to shifting mindsets and creating a positive direction for the children’s future.
