Focusing on Necessities
April 3, 2024
During the month of February, the Transformational Community Development (TCD) work has been good. At the beginning of the month, a team visited Dumka and planted trees with the aim of making villages greener and helping families eat different types of fruits in the coming days. We did this in two villages, helping over 100 families.
In Bhatola, I am working to make a full-fledged committee that will work in all the areas. As of now, the major needs are with the bathrooms. Due to a lack of awareness in the community, so many families don’t have bathrooms. Even if some people have one, they don’t use it. In the month of March, the major goal will be to make people aware of the problems with open defecation and also alert community members to the government’s plan to build bathrooms.
Thank you,
