Dedicated to Learning
May 6, 2024

We continued to provide lessons from the Transformational Community Development (TCD) program. Umm Shenouda participated and said, “I was living a nervous life because of the various pressures of caring for my three children, studying with them, preparing food, cleaning the house, and solving the children’s problems. I was not focusing on taking care of myself, nor did I care about my appearance, my health, or my relationship with my husband. After I started attending TCD classes, I began to take care of myself and my health and gave myself time to rest and be with my husband. My life became organized and different, and I felt valuable and healthy.”
David participated and said, “I love the TCD program, and it has become very important in my life. Even though we moved to another area, I rode the bus for an hour and a half to attend the TCD program. Through the program, I learned how to cross the street easily and safely without accidents. I also appreciated the health and psychological lessons, and I share what I learn with my friends.”
