Villagers Raise Funds to Repair School
July 15, 2024
In Effaoho, the locals continue to support Transformational Community Development (TCD) projects and are reaping the gains thereof. Earlier in the month, heavy rains came with a storm and broke some parts of the school building. The locals raised funds with the support of the Champion to fix the damage. The workman was engaged and mobilized with some money, and he’ expected to get the job done.
Another solar powered light was also installed around the school to enable school children to have some tutorials at dusk. This made many locals excited as the light not only illuminates the school but the surroundings. In the coming months, there’ll be consolidation of proposed Income Generating projects, especially for palm oil production.
Thank you!
