Overcoming Frustration Leads to Positivity
October 31, 2022
Through the Transformational Community Development (TCD) programme, we offered psychological and social lessons. After the development lesson, Umm Hana said, “My home life was very tiring and frustrating. I have a teenage boy who met bad friends and became addicted. We took him to the clinic to treat him for addiction, and we spent a lot of money on him. His father is an old man and does not work, and our circumstances remain difficult. My feelings of disappointment and a lack of desire for life led to a feeling of sadness. My money became my life.”
After hearing a lesson in the TCD group, Umm Hana said, “I started to look at myself and my house with a positive view and said ‘no’ to failure. I overcame frustration and now see a positive view of my son. I hope he will come back and get rid of his addiction. I am getting to know people around me who encourage me in my frustration, and I will keep holding on to hope in my difficult circumstances.”
Thank you,
