The training team seeks to change thinking and behavior through Transformational Community Development (TCD) programs. We also contribute by helping villagers increase their income through small projects and simple assistance. This month, in partnership with a local organization, we distributed food to 200 women. Among them was a woman named Mariam, who was very thankful for the chicken she had been given. She had not eaten chicken for more than two months. She had been hoping to feed her son, but the prices of food were so high. She said, “I thank the training team for organizing this event to help the poor in the neighborhood.”

We have continued the campaign to renounce violence in society. During the TCD lesson, three siblings, Kyrollos, Julia, and Jumana, participated. Kyrollos said, “My sisters and I entered a challenge a week ago to live in peace, love, and help each other. Also, to eat our biscuits or chocolate together. This is because of the lessons I learned this month about loving my sisters. I learned not to be greedy, and I learned not to beat them. My sister, Jumana, used to make me angry, and I beat her constantly, and she insulted me. We were always fighting, and Mama was shouting at us and hitting us.”
