The Self-Help Group is Working Well!
January 18, 2024

Shaima* is living in a village and her husband is an old man. Most of her children are married and they are taking care of their families. Since we have started the Self-Help group in her village, many women are taking part in it.
Shaima said, “Since I learned and understood about saving through the Self-Help group, I encouraged other women to take part in it. Our group has collected more than 50,000 rupees. We are able to take loans to buy goats, and it is very helpful for our other needs as well. In the past month, one lady needed medical assistance and we gave her a loan from our Self-Help group savings. Without the loan, she would not have been able to get the medical care she needed. Thank you.”
Thank you!
