Putting the Land to Use
July 15, 2024
This month, I noticed the preschool children have learned to count numbers, say the alphabet, and recognize different animals, birds, fish, flowers, and vegetable names, which I did not expect at their age. Hope Preschool is exceeding our expectations.
Villagers have some empty land beside their houses, which they are trying to utilize for kitchen gardens or planting trees for fruit, wood, and firewood. They could also use the land to meet their protein needs as a livestock or poultry farm. Many of these ideas were discussed during our Transformational Community Development (TCD) awareness meeting. The village youth were also encouraged to fellowship with each other and move the community forward.
Thank you!
