Community members learned the importance of boiling their drinking water after finding many contaminated water sources.
We have been consistently conducting Transformational Community Development (TCD) classes, hands-on activities, and motivational sessions, which have sparked interest among other villagers to join the TCD movement and be part of a transforming community.
During a recent visit with my TCD team, we met with villagers facing serious challenges—especially in education, health, and employment. I took the opportunity to raise awareness about waterborne diseases. We tested water sources in three villages—Targhrera, Mechbasti, and Shikarpur—and found them unsafe for drinking.
I immediately informed the village leaders about the test results, explaining the dangers of using contaminated water and the importance of purification. This awareness campaign created urgency and motivated action. As a result, these three villages began boiling water, safeguarding water sources, and ensuring safer daily use. Their response has not only improved their own well-being but also inspired neighboring communities to follow their lead. Thanks to TCD’s ongoing presence, this change is sustainable and continues to spread.
Thank you,
