Water and Wellness

Having a secure water source is imperative for community health.

Juliana is a 24-year-old mother of two. She shared with the Transformational Community Development (TCD) champion that it was quite difficult to collect enough water to meet her family’s needs and properly irrigate her backyard garden due to the scarcity of a reliable water source within the community. However, thanks to the efforts of TCD and its benevolent donors, her community of Old Mosongo is now a beneficiary of a borehole water project. They now have access to safe drinking water at a comfortable distance within their region.

The new water project has positively impacted the community. Both agricultural produce and the wellness of the people have seen an improvement since its provision. This has given the people a renewed hope in the sustainable nature of TCD.
