The people of Ratchaboot Village recently came together to review their own Transformational Community Development (TCD) through the TCDISM Review. This process gave them an opportunity to look back, celebrate their progress, and discuss what they could continue improving for the future.

Ratchaboot is a close-knit and caring community. The villagers show great unity, enjoy generally good health, and ensure that their children receive an education. Although they face financial challenges—especially in agriculture, which has been affected by the national economy—they continue to stand strong and support one another.

During the community assessment, the villagers took the lead in discussing and scoring different aspects of their community life. They spoke honestly and openly, sharing a wide range of opinions and ideas. Their courage to express different viewpoints showed the community’s maturity and commitment to growth.

From the discussion, the villagers agreed that their next goal is to improve access to clean water. They plan to clean their village water tanks and repair the filtration system together. The project is set for November, and they have decided to use a single-barrel filtration method to remove impurities before the water is stored in the main tank.

Beyond this, the community is also eager to learn more about clean water systems. They will build small home water filters to better understand how filtration works and how they can maintain good hygiene in their households.

This reflection and planning process showed once again the heart of Ratchaboot Village—a community that learns, works, and grows together for the well-being of everyone.
