In Don Zoukoutoudja Village, a community discussion was held on the construction of a solar-powered well drill. With the support of the village chief and councilors, two potential locations were identified for the technician to finalize the drilling site. The community also reported progress on repairing their agricultural machine, using available funds to replace worn-out parts, and confirmed that some money still remains in the Food Committee’s fund reserves for future needs.
Beyond water and agriculture, the community highlighted pressing needs such as establishing school canteens for children, additional classrooms in the primary school, and a nearby health center to reduce deaths caused by long distances to hospitals in Zogbodomey. The Wellness Committee reported steady progress on toilet facilities but emphasized the need for continued partner support to install more toilets across the village, reducing open defecation and improving public health. Thanks to the effort of Transformational Community Development (TCD)!
Thank you!
